NYC Dreamscape 1

Story of the ImageTaken from the window of a train departing Penn Station in New York City, this image provides an “x-ray” view of the city—the “skeletal” structure of the bridge and buildings on the skyline. The halftone pattern further reduces the elements in the image to a more “atomic” or ”molecular” level. The glowing moon with a wisp of cloud in front stands out as a single natural element that follows its own course, independent of humans. Always been there, always will be.

The “view portal” that frames the image is a photograph of an industrial window in a renovated factory in the Chelsea area of NYC. The window provides a gateway into fanciful realms where you can explore worlds familiar and unknown, the world as is and the world reimagined.

Printed on specially-coated aluminum, ready to hang. No frame required.
