Some photographers immediately process their images when they get back from a shoot. Who wants to wait to see what goodies lie on the camera’s memory cards? Others advocate waiting a while before looking at them. The passage of time offers perspective, and perspective is often a direct path to the delete key. I generally fall into the former category, but sometimes I’ll defer putting up images in my portfolio until I’m sure I really like them. Here’s a small batch of images that survived the two month waiting period. I took the photos during a brief excursion to Providence, Rhode Island back in June. I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed the feel of the city and look forward to going back again when I can explore it in more depth.
